Recently, Shanghai DroidUp Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DroidUp") announced the completion of a Pre-A+ funding round of nearly RMB 100 million (approximately $14 million).

This round was co-led by Shanghai Pudong Leading Zone Investment Center and Shanghai Zhangjiang Technology Venture Capital Co., Ltd., with participation from institutions including the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Investment Industry Development Fund, while successfully introducing Qingdao Zhenghe Industrial Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Solex Group members as strategic industrial investors.

This financing will inject strong development momentum into the company. Building on its existing humanoid robot industry foundation, it will pioneer a new track of human-machine symbiosis, with key focus on IP revitalization, emotional companionship, and other emotional value services, while deeply cultivating emerging social demand scenarios such as elderly care and health support, accelerating the commercialization and scaled application of cutting-edge technologies.

DroidUp, with the core vision of "opening a new era of human-machine symbiosis," deeply integrates bionic robot platform technology with multimodal emotional interaction models, committed to infusing soul and warmth into bionic intelligence, creating trustworthy life companionship and services.

The company not only pursues the high degree of unity among ultra-humanlike appearance, humanoid motion, and bionic aesthetics, but also focuses on developing robot systems capable of understanding, responding to, and proactively caring for human emotions, precisely addressing the growing demands for personalized emotional companionship, rehabilitation and elderly care services, providing innovative solutions that combine technological beauty with humanistic care.

Recently, the company's multiple core technological achievements have been showcased, constructing a diversified product matrix:

Silicon-Based Girl Moya: The world's first fully embodied intelligent bionic robot, integrating human body aesthetics with humanlike motion, equipped with an intelligent core to achieve emotional perception and flexible motion replication, serving as a core product for emotional companionship and health care.

The proceeds from this fundraising will focus on three core directions, driving the company's leap from technological leadership to scaled delivery, with key emphasis on tackling the elderly care and health support market, while simultaneously covering life companionship and mental health assistance scenarios, accelerating commercial deployment:

First, deepening core technology and product iteration. Increase investment in bionic actuation, multimodal emotional models, and scenario-based AI R&D, strengthening robots' emotional interaction and adaptive capabilities, consolidating the "emotional intelligence" advantage, while simultaneously optimizing the performance of the general-purpose bionic humanoid robot platform to adapt to multi-scenario demands.

Second, upgrading mass production delivery and supply chain systems. Establish standardized mass production and full-process quality control mechanisms to ensure product reliability and consistency, efficiently responding to market demands. Currently, the company has achieved product-market fit across three core scenarios, accumulating over 1,000 units in order intentions, laying a solid foundation for scaled deployment.

Third, advancing ecosystem co-development and market penetration. Deepen collaboration with strategic shareholders and industry partners, creating benchmark application cases, with key focus on expanding the elderly care and health support market, while simultaneously reaching target customer groups, strengthening brand building, leveraging the universal platform to empower industries, and constructing a sustainable commercialization model.
